Jason Scott's Biography...
Jason Scott was born in Toronto Ontario, and grew up on the Niagara peninsula 20 miles from Niagara Falls.
At the age of 5 years he entered The Conservatory of Music and at 15 years graduated with 1st degree honors, equalling the training of his teachers.
After high school, Jason toured Canada extensively for 20 years, as lead singer for club, cover, and original concert bands.
In the late 1980's and early 1990's Jason was a record label signed writer and performer. Jason also attended L.A. Radio Works and graduated 1st in his class with honors as a C.R.T.C. Licensed Broadcaster.
In 1997, after realizing and finding the voice of Neil, Jason has been performing in soft seat theatres and casinos in a show titled "Jason Scott's Diamond Forever A Celebration Of Neil Diamond", leaving audiences across Canada, the United States and Mexico on their feet for over a decade.
In the summer of 2005 while on vacation in Nevada, Jason was the 1st "International" tribute artist to win the "Be A Legend" competition as "Neil Diamond" at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino. He was invited back the following October and performed an enthusiastically received audition with "On Stage Entertainment" owners of the world famous "Legends in Concert" in Las Vegas!
Besides touring Canada, Jason has made hit appearances at "The Rosen Plaza Hotel" and "The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort at Disney World" in Orlando Florida and aboard The Royal Caribbean ship "The Monarch of the Seas". He has appeared in Las Vegas at "The Greek Isles Hotel and Casino", the "South Point Hotel Casino and Spa", the "Imperial Palace" and before her demolition, the world famous "Stardust Resort and Casino."
Just recently Jason has performed his award winning show on the "Fremont Street Stage" at the "Fremont Street Experience".
In February, 2011 Jason had the honor of being invited to perform as the opening act for the headlining "Country Superstars" show at the fabulous Las Vegas "Golden Nugget Showroom"!!
Additionally, Jason Scott's show, Diamond Forever a Celebration of Neil Diamond, performs for 2 weeks every year in
Mazatlan, Mexico!
Jason Scott resides in the south eastern Kootenay Mountains of British Columbia, Canada.
